Steve Fisher

Steve Fisher's work is largely about the music he loves. Finding old wood or metal to capture the images of musicians, Fisher creates a timeless quality. Self taught, his work is informed by his admiration of several great American outsider artists. His work has the same straightforward, honest, image making that is characteristic of their work. As a testament to the validity of this approach, Fisher's work doesn't stay on the gallery walls very long.
